Already a Sureshot Hosting customer? Then getting started is even easier. Simply log in to your Sureshot Hosting account and click the "Affiliates" tab to activate your affiliate account.
How does the program work?
Once signed up, you will be able to view a list of text and image banners that we have prepared for you. Simply copy the HTML code for the banner you wish to use and then paste that into your web page, newsletter, or email campaign. If you prefer you can also make your own banners / ads and use the affiliate link code provided to refer your visitors.
When someone clicks your affiliate link and visits our site a "cookie" is created in their web browser. If that person then signs up for a web hosting account with us anytime in the next 90 days (and the cookie is still present in their web browser) you will earn a commission on that sale. Not only do you earn a commission when they sign up, you continue to earn a commission every time they renew their hosting (i.e. each time they make a payment). We'll even give you $5.00 to get you started!
You will automatically receive an email report each month with your referral details and commission earnings information so you can stay up to date with your earnings.
How do the payments work?
When you refer a new customer to us you will receive a commission of 1% of the cost of the web hosting package they sign up for. Then, whenever they renew their hosting package (e.g. every month) you will earn another commission for the same amount (1% of the cost).
The new account must be active for at least 45 days before your first commission will be applied. After that you will automatically earn a commission every time they make a payment. If they pay monthly you will earn a commission every month, if they pay quarterly you will earn a commission every 3 months, and so on.
You can make a withdrawal once your balance has reached $25.00. You can then choose if you would like to have your commission applied to your own web hosting account as a credit or payed out to you directly. Commission payments can be made either through PayPal or by check, it's up to you.
How long does the referral cookie last?
The referral cookie that is set in the visitor's web browser will last for 90 days by default. However, it is possible that the browser cookies can be deleted or, possibly, not even accepted in the first place (which is entirely up to the browser settings of the particular individual). If you feel that you did not properly get credit for a referral, let us know and we'll look into it.
